Karl Selander

Karl Selander, President
Karl serves as the President of ServanTek and is focused on furthering the vision of the organization as well as collaborating with the team to define, develop and deploy technical solutions. After working for over 14 years in research and development at IBM, Karl felt led to leave his career and start an organization (ServanTek) which focused on the application of Information Technology to meet the needs and multiply the impact of ministries and non-profit organizations around the world. In addition to starting and running another technology company, Karl has held numerous leadership positions in various organizations. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 patents in the area of communications circuit design.

Andrei Gorbachenko

Andrei Gorbachenko, Director of Information Technologies
Since 2005 Andrei has worked together with Todd Marshall in developing and implementing distance education programs and electronic resources in Ukraine. His vision for his role in ServanTek is to revolutionize people’s understanding of and access to technology within the former Soviet Union. Andrei has been at the core of bringing together a comprehensive plan to implement the best resources available for distance education programs for Christian Universities in Eastern Europe.


Victor Titarchuk

Victor Titarchuk, PhD, Director of Educational Technologies
Victor has been invaluable in laying out the IT infrastructure of ServanTek. As the first member of ServanTek’s team in Ukraine, Victor has prepared the foundation for our operations in Ukraine.Victor received his Doctorate in Higher Education from the University of North Texas in May of 2007. He and his family now reside in Kiev Ukraine where He serves fulltime as the Director of Educational Technologies for ServanTek.


Ray Selander

Ray Selander, Project Manager
Ray joined the ServanTek team in 2009 as Project Manager after retirement from IBM and R&D Electrical Engineering. His 43 years  of engineering experience encompassed R&D Development of automation equipment and robotics in both engineering and management roles. He holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering-Digital Computers, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and several patents in the area of robotics, automation, sensor technology and electronics. As Project Manager, his role is to free up some of the administrative project tracking work to allow our team to focus on the project development tasks, allowing ServanTek to handle more projects.


Kristen Hiller

Kristen Hiller, Graphic Designer
Kristen received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism at Union University, in Jackson, TN. She spent the next three years working as an overseas correspondent for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. In 2009, Kristen completed her Master's degree at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she studied photography, multimedia and design. Kristen has worked as a writer, photographer and designer, and specializes in visual communications.



Gracia Amirtharaj, Programmer
Gracia is a computer science engineer from Tamil Nadu, India. After working in India for 2 years on PeopleSoft ERP, she decided to pursue her master's degree in software development at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Upon completion of her graduate work, Gracia joined the Servantek team in August of 2009. Gracia is a skilled programmer whose main focus is the development and customization of ServanTek's credit card processor.

Todd Marshall

Todd Marshall, Ph.D., International Ministry Consultant
Todd holds multiple masters degrees in theology and information science. He served for nine years as a missionary with WorldVenture in Ukraine working at Kyiv Theological Seminary and REALIS. Todd is dean of of online education at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. He recently completed his Ph.D. from Syracuse University in information science and technology, focusing on information systems in religious nonprofits. Todd serves as a consultant on various ServanTek projects specializing in organizational impact of technology, library science, and online education.

Ted Barnett

Ted Barnett, Web Development Consultant
Ted was educated at Taylor University in Computer Graphic Design and Systems Development. He served as lead web developer for Africa Inland Mission for seven years. He has also done freelance web development in a variety of different contexts but most of all enjoys working with non-profit organizations. Ted is an experienced XHTML, CSS, and PHP developer and loves working with Joomla CMS. Ted serves as a consultant on various ServanTek projects specializing in development, usability, and interface design.
